Last week we took a small adventure over to the local airport and actually timed it right to have lunch at the nearby diner (where Luke met a few backhoe operators having lunch as well!) and then drive over to watch a plane land and then take off again.
We taught Luke that a helicopter & airplane make the 'doh, doh, doh' sound when they are flying so that is what he calls flying things in the air...I am also fairly certain he was happier to be 'loose' in mommy's car than to watch the airplane, but it was all a good time :)
