Gone Fishin'

I am pretty sure the pictures do the talking here...Dad didn't get a break between the rapid fire catches we were making, my mom was super cute and focused on catching dinner and Luke just loved every minute of being out at a friend's pond with some of his favorite people learning how to fish. We ate every last one, too ;) Love you, dad!

Luke is FOUR!

Scooby was there in full force
Scooby balloons even got an excited birthday kiss!
 Yeah! It's my birthday!

Yeah! I am four! The pictures below are of Luke walking into Larry's House of Cakes to 'pick out' his birthday cake. He knew he wanted chocolate, etc...but we had ordered a Scooby cake that looked awesome and the wonderful workers there agreed to put it in the display case before we arrived so that he would be surprised by the cake that he not only wanted, but had L-U-K-E on it! It was a mom's dream/priceless moment!

Wow - I love it! (and he said Thank you really loudly to the cashier)

Such a big boy! I loved watching him enjoy the day :)
And then, a rainbow made an awesome appearance. We were taking guests on golf cart rides and Luke was happy to play with his new remote control car at the time. When I drove up at the height of 'rainbow beauty', Ruthie came up to me and said "Luke could care less!" He just loves that car :)

When these two wonderful girls showed up, Luke stood at the door with a HAPPY smile on his face and then ran around singing the Scooby song. Molly and Ruthie made his day even more special!

New Sunday Routine

Family golfing in the afternoon...special tees and all - "I keep my balls close, but Grandpa loses his in the water" "You are proud of me, mommy! I won!" "Is your heart melting?" The last statement when he got home and was so excited and I was so happy to see him home and happy :)
