Herrin visit

Herrin as an amazing park, great pool, great deli, etc...so when there was a chance to go to a music performance at the Civic Center, I knew we could make an entire day of fun out of it. We enjoyed some "Jive with Jazz", met some friends, picked up our picnic meatballs and headed to the park! At one point, I thought some older boys were not treating the little kids nicely & then I realized they were watching Luke because he kept trying to block their way wherever they went on the play center. Oops! Good lesson in letting kids work out their own issues :) And, a good lesson in realizing that my kid isn't quite so little anymore :) Good day (and a Target visit, too!)
