This will be an outfit that will be seen at the end of the month, but Luke LOVES his ref whistle and shirt so he wore it to the high school football game Friday night. Life is short. Wear your Halloween costume as much as possible!

These pics are more than a week old but I have just been busier enjoying time with Luke than taking pictures of it. This photo op was too good to pass up and he was too busy to want the camera from me. We are having a great time with Indian Summer, Luke may be switching pre-schools and we have an extra day of fun together tomorrow because there is no school!

Good times

Luke and I are watching a Thomas the Train movie after a day spend on an adventure to Ava, lots of basketball with his new hoop, a long fight with daddy over whether to nap or not (they fell asleep together!), a tennis tourney for me, chinese noodles and fruit snacks for dinner, cool weather moving in (we have the heat on!) and lots of laundry being taken care of...Daddy is at the homecoming dance so we are happy to be relaxing at home on this fine Saturday evening. Here are some recent self-portraits. This child LOVES doing his independent thing and taking pictures. He is a joy!

Luke decorated this pumpkin 'puh-kin' at school today. He was in a heart kind of mood according to his teacher :)
























I love these pictures more than nearly anything in the world right now. He was just sitting by his puh-kin admiring his work so I went to get the camera. Well...he immediately needed the camera and when I told him he could have it after he sat by the pumpkin for a picture this is what I got. aaaaaaaahhhhhh...love I was laughing a bit inside as I asked him to really give me a good pouty face. Totally got the shot, don't you think? Happy October B*tches...Life is good!

PS - He was all smiles as he trotted in the house with the camera in his hands 60 seconds after these were taken. I really think he may turn out to be an actor.

Getting Comfortable

After a day at Gma Susan's, this (not so) little man needed a couch break. Does he look a wee bit worn out or what? Even with his big day, he still managed to stay up and dance with me during Dancing with the Stars. Really...So fun!

Toys R Us

Can you tell we made a trip to the toy store this weekend? Lots of fun toys that Luke has never played with before. You know...tow trucks and emergency vehicles.


Oh...and he likes to photography his feet, too. Random addition!

BUBBLES!

Luke had so much fun Sunday morning blowing bubbles all by himself. He ended up covered in bubble soap but was still all smiles!
