By the time I get to this at night, my brain is tired and so is my body. But...that is a wonderful thing. We are enjoying full days of fun, Luke is a happy boy, his vocabulary is growing, not to mention, his body, by the minute, and we are savoring summer. Here is some photographic proof. Mom, you should love this abundance of pictures. That is, if you don't have a headache from all of the balloon bonking you (and dad)tolerated tonight! xoxo
These pictures have been taken over the past couple of weeks and include a great visit from Uncle Glenn/Ziggy, Our waiter at Pag's drew this for Luke after asking his favorite cartoon character. Priceless. We had him autograph it.
running through our sprinkler,
celebrating Steve's last day as principal. The whole school staff wore these shirts on his last day. There is an inside joke to it that makes it really special. I am too spent on typing to write the story out. The highlight for us is that Luke spent the whole day at school with me and got to go to Steve's lunch party and enjoy being at the HS all day :)
Painting masterpieces...
Reuniting with babysitter of the century, Heather!
watching his first full length movie - Cars! He went crazy for the movie. He was totally into it, had to get his toys that 'matched' what he saw on the screen and was just so thrilled to see his toys 'live'...it is a cute movie but I had more fun watching Luke! Plus, we made popcorn and had good snacks...bonus
Relaxing on whatever is nearby (even mommy's hip!)
Steve gives me complete free reign to decorate, take care of house decisions and stuff, but he once said that he would like to live close to a golf course if/when we moved. Here are some shots of him taken from our deck. I am so happy that he gets out to play a few times a week. Luke loves to play #3 with him and generally comes off of the cart saying he 'got a par'
Here's hoping I can do better about posting more often. This took me about an hour and I need to go to bed! Aaaahhhh...summer. I am going to go blow Luna a kiss as she is full and lovely in the sky tonight.
