One week

We have had our dear Onesie for a week. She is making great strides at being comfortable in the house, not being afraid of Star after the first night dog food fights (argh!) and I am making great strides in learning her personality (and not constantly worrying about her being outside in cold temps) She loves the outdoors, treats, food, belly rubs and Luke :) Smart girl. This is a picture Steve snapped the day that we met her (1-11-11) and brought her out to meet Star.

Favorite thing

Luke LOVES his train table. He was so excited after his first day back to school on Tuesday to get back home to his train buddies and his house of fun. He likes to point out that he loves his 'home'. I love this photo of him pushing Percy along the line. He will also ask to go to Barnes and Noble so that he can pick out a new Thomas piece and then look at me or Steve and say "Pay now, and go home!" ha!

Arranged sleep

Luke was very deliberate last Friday as I sang him to sleep. He arranged his legs this way, and he was still in this pose over an hour later when we checked on him.

Introducing...

Onesie, the wonderdog. Or should I have spelled it onederdog?

Not only is this title unique, it makes Luke giggle every time he hears it! We are happy to have another canine in the house! 1-11-11, the day that we met her had a little something to do with her name. Good work, Steve!

Snow Day (Again!)

We had another snow day today! The decision maker is a brilliant man and I like him a lot.

Anyway, we (yes it is true) played, we slept in since Luke was a total spaz last night and kept us up for his shenanigans, and we went out in the snow for a quick spin in the laundry basket.

Luke also ate a double cheeseburger in about 14 seconds and...wait for it...we got a new dog. More on her later. I would happily work an extra week or two into June if we could work out a snowday once every couple of weeks.

Blue House

I am pretty sure that I talk about houses and watch House Hunters too much since Luke now will eagerly draw a BLUE HOUSE at any opportunity and one of his favorite sentences is "I love House Hunters, too, Mommy" Here is an example of his architectural design.

I GOT THIS

Luke found some wrapping paper in my closet the other day and Steve found him excitedly unwrapping the cardboard tube and then yelling "I got this". Classic.

I just asked Luke if he wanted to stay home today and he said 'yes, stay home'. I said 'I am down' and he said "I am down, too" Here is some pictures for my demanding comment maker :) Did I mention that one of Luke's sweet babysitters, Leah, is getting married in the fall and asked if Luke could be her ringbearer. Precious!
